Alternative Armies is something of a sweeper-up of unconsidered trifles in the miniatures wargaming world, acting as the repository for small miniatures ranges that may otherwise have gone out of production, including the 6mm sci-fi range from Bradley Miniatures.
Whilst a lot of the Bradley Miniatures range tends towards the grimdark side, amply covered by Vanguard Miniatures, it still has a more grounded sci-fi feel and includes a number of much more realistic sci-fi pieces, including the Tyrant Self-Propelled Gun.

This mini is very much the epitome of what I had in mind when I designed rules for the Armoured Artillery element. Armoured Artillery already comes with the Impact(2), Indirect and Lumbering(2) traits, but I feel like giving this the Reinforced Frontage upgrade. This provides a Defence bonus against attacks from inside an element's front arc and this element really should be standing back and pounding enemy elements using Guidance and Indirect fire, so a Reinforced Frontage should help it stay in the fight as long as possible. However, on the basis that I don't expect this element to face much direct combat, I decided that it would be manned by Untested troops, making it a bit cheaper.
